Pantano de Elche

Pantano de Elcheis an artificial water reservoir located in a picturesque region, near the city of Elche. Built in the 60s of the twentieth century, the reservoir has an area of about 3.5 km² and a capacity of about 16.5 million cubic meters of water. Its main purpose is to meet the water needs of the region, especially in the context of agriculture.
